Kayrani Sha, Jedi Consular by Tanqexe Kayrani Sha, Jedi Consular by Tanqexe
Kayrani Sha is a Miraluka Jedi Consular of Master rank from the Star Wars: The Old Republic era. Flexing my Photoshop muscles again.

Background's incomplete, but gonna work on some other stuff first before coming back to it.

I like the perspective on the lightsaber. And how the material reacts with the light.

Wow, this is downright awesome.

Hey, would you mind if I used your image as part of a fanfiction's book cover? Full credit goes to you, of course. Pm me if you're interested!

Lovely work. Very nice perspective on the saber and I can't wait to see the background completely finished.

AS per usual in regards to your work, this is absolutely fantastic. I really love the warm colors you used in contrast to the blue light saber which seems to offset the peacful tone. Really cool man :3

Wo! That's beautiful! I've been keeping track with the concept art stuff from Bioware's Star Wars: The Old Republic site. I really thought this was official artwork! I love how you rendered out your character. I haven't done much character stuff, but mainly epic environments.

You know, I'm pretty rusty with environments and could use a tip here and there. Maybe we can work together on something later? :)

Oh man! That would be awesome!! I have friends who absolutely hate environments and only focus on characters at school. I guess there are pros and cons to it. For environments, you must focus on value, composition, lighting, and the overall aspect of the entire pieces. And for characters you only have to focus on the figure itself with lighting and costume and the usual things. I guess for me, it's hard to get the character to be alive and full of emotion.

I absolutely *love* environments. It's just that I don't often get the time to really play around with them because I'll want to get every nook and cranny down. But yeah, I want to do a high quality, fully painted TOR comic that'd knock Dark Horse's socks off. If it's a two or three-man team, the work would pass by so much faster.

Oooo! A fully painting TOR comic! That sounds so tempting! I've gotten all the references I need for that! Plus, I'm out of school now for the summer so I have loads of time.

Yeah, environments are my thing. Although I need to practice more on characters. :)

You need practice on characters, I need practice on environments, we'll reach the middle ground somehow :P

What's your name on the TOR forums? I'll add you as a friend. And if you'd like to start brainstorming, PM me your contact info and we'll get in touch.

By the way, I used to be from LA, still got family there. You wouldn't happen to be at Pasadena Art Center, would you?

Noo! I'm actually from it's rival school. Otis: College of Art and Design! Haha! Our concept design department is at equal footing with them! :D

Yeah, everyone has different skill sets at first. My TOR forum name is ForceKimchi. I don't really post much, just here so I can maybe test the game and of course the concept art stuff.

Sure just email me. I think that's the best. :)

Oh duh, didn't read your devID. No offense intended! My friend Tim went to Pasadena Art Center, so that's why I asked.

Yeah I know what you mean, hope I can get into beta testing. It'd be like finding Willy Wonka's golden ticket.

Okay, you'll have to give me your email then...or actually, I have my email on my profile, so you can email me?

Whoa! Awesome Star Wars character! Very well rendered and I love the perspective of the lightsaber pointed at the viewer.
I would have loved having her as a playable character in the KOTOR games!

Thanks! I'm trying to include her in a story, but it's going pretty slowly.
